This is before the veggies went into the oven, you can see the tomatoes in the capsicum, with anchovies and basil on the top. Yum! While I was preparing, I popped an anchovy into my mouth, au naturel. I never think of anchovies as being fish. When I buy them, I'm almost surprised to remember in the supermarket that you get them with the canned fish. I try to avoid any fish with little bones that are easier to just crunch, rather than seek out. Now, this was the fishiest, hairiest, most crunchy-boned anchovy I've ever experienced. Ever. Nearly cured me... but not quite.
